How much do you enjoy eating soft-serve ice cream? If your name is Jeff Bezos, the answer is apparently a lot.
The
"I just did an ice cream delivery to a guy that now has CVT on tap in his house 24/7," the post reads, accompanied by a photo of founder Joe Nicchi. "Thank you Jeff Bezos for being our first residential #CVTeeny client."
He added: "What. The Actual. Fuck?!?" Vice was the first to spot the post.
The CVTeeny is a soft-serve-ice-cream machine designed to look like a food truck, complete with a customizable "license plate" on the front. (We'll just have to guess at what Bezos chose for his plate.)
The machine dispenses vanilla, chocolate, and twist soft-serve, according to the company's site.
While we don't know for sure which of Bezos' houses the machine was installed in, from CVT's photo, it appears to be his Beverly Hills estate. He purchased the home, previously known as the Warner Estate, in February 2020, for $165 million, breaking the record for the most expensive home sale in California state history. He added an adjacent $10 million property, creating a $175 million compound.
A spokesperson for Bezos did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment on the soft-serve machine.
Bezos has shown in the past that, like many of us, he's unable to resist the simple allure of soft-serve.
In April 2019, he was spotted with two of his children at New York City's Milk Bar, a dessert spot and bakery founded by chef Christina Tosi. Page Six reported at the time that he ordered the company's famous Cereal Milk ice cream, which is intended to taste like "the bottom of your cereal bowl."
Now, thanks to his new unlimited ice-cream machine, Bezos will no longer have to make a special trip to get his soft-serve fix.
