  • A luxury clothing subscription service costs members five figures annually, WWD reported.
  • NB44 is invite-only, but you can let the brand know you're interested in subscribing on its site.

A luxurious take on clothing subscriptions arrived in early 2023, and you might now be able to secure your membership — for a price.

For $12,000 a year, members of luxury brand NB44 will receive a total of 12 complete Italian-made menswear outfits from the collections of fashion designer Nicolas Bijan, Women's Wear Daily reported.

A mix of up to three outfits arrive in a personalized trunk delivered with white-glove service whenever NB44 releases a new ready-to-wear collections — they can release up to four in one year. As it stands, there are 44 members paying to receive a $5,000 cashmere jacket and similarly priced garments, and they can even make special requests, WWD reported. If they see something they like, they can choose to buy it on top of the subscription price.

NB44 isn't the first brand to offer access to designer clothes for a fee, but the $12,000 price tag lands it among the priciest subscription options. Rent the Runway reported over 141,000 active subscribers in April, and its most expensive subscription plan works out to about $235 per month.

Quiet luxury and stealth wealth have a had a boom in popularity in 2023, and NB44 appears right on trend with luxurious materials and no obvious labels.

If you're hoping to score a membership, you'll have to be invited. But, there's an online questionnaire where you can let the brand know you're willing to pay the five-figure fee and answer questions about your size and fashion preferences.

Representatives at NB44 did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment ahead of publication.

"When we feel we are able to serve more members, we reach out and invite them to join," Bijan told WWD.
