6Degree
This is one of India’s first fashion talent and tech startup that unifies individuals related to the fashion domain such as fashion designers, bloggers, brands, models and photographers on a single common platform.
Explaining his reason to join this industry, Amit Bharadwaj, Co-Founder & COO, 6 Degree said, "We (founders) initially had a concept for building a community around music, wherein people would create independent music pieces and collaborate with other artists to create a new song or a jingle which could be then sold to relevant people - brands, labels, etc. However, after doing thorough research they realised the concept wouldn't work for Indian music artists. My wife who is in the field of product design suggested how the same concept could help the fashion ecosystem. After some market research, planning, and further interaction with fashion professionals and witnessing fashion weeks, the whole idea was refined into what is now known as 6 Degree."
