REPORT: Plane Full Of Passengers Lands In Istanbul After Hijacking Attempt

A commercial airliner has landed in Istanbul after a hijacking attempt, the AFP is reporting:

According to Today's Zaman, a Turkish news outlet, the plane landed at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen airport, and the pilot had told airport officials there had been a hijacking attempt.

The airport is now closed to air traffic.
