REPORT: NBA Star Dwight Howard Investigated For Alleged Child Abuse

Houston Rockets star center Dwight Howard is under investigation for allegedly abusing his 7-year-old child, according to USA Today.

The allegation is coming from Cobb County, Georgia for an incident that reportedly happened on October 1, 2014. The USA Today notes that initially the investigation didn't yield any results, but in the last 24 hours, more information has come to light. Now the case is back under the microscope.

NBA executive vice president of communications Mike Bass told USA TODAY Sports, "We are aware of the allegations concerning Dwight Howard and are in the process of independently gathering the facts."
