REPORT: Islamist Gunmen Gunned Down Students As They Slept, Killed As Many As 50 In Nigeria

Gunmen from Islamist group Boko Haram massacred students at a Nigerian college, according to breaking media reports.

The attack follows reports yesterday that Boko Haram had killed 27 villagers in two attacks in northeast Nigeria, following the army's attempted crackdown on the militants.

The militants have previously attacked schools, which are seen as centers of the Western culture they despise, according to Reuters.
