Renault Launches Duster AWD Compact SUV For Rs 11.83 Lakhs

NEW DELHI: Renault India on Wednesday launched the Duster All Wheel Drive (AWD) compact SUV between Rs 11.89 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The AWD will enable the SUV to intuitively access the road and constantly engage all wheels. It will come in shift-by-fly options of 2WD, Auto and 4WD. The car is mated to a six speed transmission.

The car is powered by the 1.5 dCi THP diesel engine with 110 PS@4000 RPM of maximum power and torque of 245NM@1750 RPM. It gets cosmetic changes to its exteriors and a new dash and seats for its interiors. It also gets a new infotainment system.

Duster has been pivotal for the fortunes of the company as it has sold over 100,000 units in the past 25 months in India.

The Duster AWD is expected to contribute greatly to the company's hopes of garnering five per cent plus market share in the country. Renault is alsp looking to launch two new cars next year even as it ramps up dealership to 175 across India by end of the year.
