Along with Facebook, Twitter too has come up with its list of things that people in India yapped about the most on the micro blogging site.

It comes as no surprise, that the Golden Tweet for India in 2014 comes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s (@NarendraModi), which he shared post winning the Lok Sabha election. It is the most retweeted tweet ever in India.

While the second most popular tweet in India was by Salman Khan where he shared the trailer of his movie Kick.

Coming over to the fastest-rising Twitter hashtag trends in India, it seems to be a nice mix of sports, disasters and political campaigns.
