Since its launch, Reliance Jio saw a number of high-profile exists. Recently, Pradeep Shrivastava resigned from his post as chief marketing officer. Chief cloud architect Soren L Hansen, assistant vice president (data science & analytics of cloud engineering) Hari Charan Rao, assistant vice president (security operations) Maya R Nair, and public Wi-Fi business head Pawan S Yadav also left the company.

In a bid to minimise the attrition rate, Reliance Jio handed over 15% increment to high performing junior and middle level managers. Whereas, at the senior executive level, in the level of DGM and above, the company gave a 10% hike.

As per reports, this year, Reliance Jio announced its annual increments quite late when compared than last increment cycle.

"The hikes range is consistent in all key functions - networks/networks IT & support, sales and marketing, customer care, projects, regulatory, and HR,” ET quoted a person as saying.

However, experts suggest handing out increments cannot assure attrition level going down across departments.

A Reliance Jio Infocomm spokesperson told ET, “The company is industry leader in compensation and other HR practices.”
