Reliance Jio Infocomm would help Punjab become the first Indian state to have full mobile broadband connectivity even in its villages.
Addressing an investor's summit in Mohali on Wednesday, RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani said the Reliance Industries owned telecom venture is ready to get launched.
However, there are no details about timelines by which all of the state's villages will be connected with 4G services.
RIL has invested Rs 92,000 crore in its ambitious telecom venture so far.
Earlier in October, Reliance Industries projected that operations of Rel Jio’s would start from the 2016-17 financial year.
