Ratan Tata has something new to say about demonetisation

Just two days days after praising the Narendra Modi government, Tata Sons chairman raised concerns on demonetisation today. He added that even while the government has done well to increase availability of new currency, it may be worthwhile to consider special relief measures as the same manner as is done during national calamities to serve poor.

He also tweeted that the note ban has impacted those facing medical emergencies and households are facing hardships while procuring daily needs.

It was on November 8 that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes would cease to be legal tender
