Ratan Tata, the emeritus chairman of Tata Sons and Mohandas Pai, chairman of Manipal Global Education Services would help the online deal-making platform, LetsVenture to grow as a firm.
The inclusion of two corporate heavyweights as advisors and investors would be another feather in the cape of LetsVenture that recently announced a Series A funding from top entrepreneurs in India.
CEO Shanti Mohan is more than happy to have Ratan Tata and Mohandas Pai on the company’s list of advisers.
Ratan Tata, who has invested in at least a dozen companies in the recent past, also participated in the platform's undisclosed Series A round along with Mohandas Pai.
LetsVenture was founded in 2013. It has raised $17 million for 53 startups from investors spread across 20 countries.
