Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor to come together for Sadma remake

If you are a fan of Kamal Haasan’s acting prowess, there is no chance that you would have missed his heart wrenching performance in the 1983 film Sadma, in which he starred alongside Sridevi.

In the movie, the lead actress Reshmi suffers a head injury, which pushes her back in the childhood, and the lead actor Somu takes care of her, falling in love with her in the meanwhile, only to be dejected when she gets better and refuses to identify him.

For those of you who haven’t watched the movie, the hit film is being remade, with a studded star cast. Apparently, Kareena Kapoor, who would next be seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in Ki & Ka, will join his best friend Ranveer Singh in the remake of Sadma.

While Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor will be producing the remake, ad filmmaker Lloyd Baptista would be directing it. The remaining cast is yet to be decided, following which the shooting would begin.

We are excited to watch Ranveer Singh, one of the finest actors in the industry amongst his peers, to step in Haasan’s shoes, especially in the last sequence of the movie when Somu tries hard to make Reshmi remember him. Gosh, so many feels!
