A makeshift tent for the PM to spend the night, as Rann of Kutch turns into a no-fly zone from Dec 18
Dec 8, 2015, 12:55 IST
Rann of Kutch and its adjoining areas will turn into a fortress from December 18 as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend the DGP meet.
During the three-day annual meet of directors-general of police, no plane will be allowed within a radius of 50 km and additional anti-aircraft guns will be deployed to shoot down any aerial intrusion.
Interestingly, PM Modi will apparently stay in makeshift tents in Rann of Kutch, which is close to the border with Pakistan.
The event will see discussions on the use of internet and social media in radicalisation of youth at a time when Islamic State is brain washing them.
It will also cover issues like covert cyber operations.
