To make its ranking, Hoppa added up the total of six travel expenses - including a 3-kilometre taxi journey, a night's stay at a hotel per person, and a meal - to find the average cost per person for a day trip in each destination.
The cost of a pint of beer, cup of coffee, and a bottle of wine were also taken into account.
Pricy destinations ranged from coastal locations in Central America to European capital cities.
