RANKED: Ivy League universities from most to least selective
Harvard University has the lowest admissions rate of all the Ivies, only taking 5.33% of students for the Class of 2019. This year, however, Columbia University overtook Yale University to become the second-most competitive school in the Ivy League.
Here are the admissions rates of all the Ivy League university for the Class of 2019, ranked from lowest to highest:
- Harvard University - 5.33%
- Columbia University - 6.1%
- Yale University - 6.49%
- Princeton University - 6.99%
- Brown University - 8.49%
- University of Pennsylvania - 9.9%
- Dartmouth College - 10.3%
- Cornell University - 14.9%
However, Stanford University - which is not in the Ivy League - remains the most selective university in America, with a 5.05% admissions rate for the Class of 2019.
