Data from Election Commission
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may have lost to Congress in Rajasthan during the State Assembly Election in 2018, but when it comes to the national stage, it looks like they’re here to stay.

The saffron party has won in every single constituency, including Nagaur, where the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) was leading during the initial count. These are indicative leads and the final results will be shared by the Election Commission by the end of the day.

Rajasthan has 25 Lok Sabha constituencies. 13 seats went for polling during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on April 29 and 12 remaining seats voted for the parliamentary candidates on May 6. The BJP has won all the seats from here during 2014 general elections. However, the fate of the party suffered a major setback when the Congress wrestled it from the ruling party and bagged a thumping victory during the assembly elections 2018. The Congress is highly hopeful to repeat its performance this time during the Lok Sabha elections 2019 also.

However, the BJP has implemented a lot of winning strategies hoping to repeat the performance in 2014 general elections. In Jodhpur constituency, the key candidates are BJP’s Gajendra Singh Shekawat and Congress party’s Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. During 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Shekhawat representing the BJP saw an overwhelming result by securing a huge margin of over 4 lakh votes than Chandresh Kumari of Congress. From Barmer seat, Kailesh Chaudhry of BJP has fought with Manvendra Singh of Congress. In the Bilwara seat, BJP’s Subash Chandra Baheria is contesting with Rampal Sharma of Congress. Om Birla of BJP will fight with Ram Narayana Meena in the Kota Lok Sabha constituency.
