PSEB 10th class results 2019: Merit list and other result details to be announced shortly

The PSEB 10^th class result 2019 are likely to be released today by the PSEB Punjab School Education Board. The said results will be published on the board’s official website most probably on May 9, 2019 i.e. tomorrow. As per the pattern, the board releases the merit list a day in advance and the results are uploaded to the board's official website the next day. Today at around 11:30 am, the board is expected to announce the 10th class results and merit list but the final upload on the PSEB website will happen tomorrow, May 9 2019. Students looking forward to check their results can do so on the website pseb.ac.in. The date of release of results by PESB is only a speculation since the board has not made any official intimation regarding the date of announcing the class 10 results. The PSEB conducted the class 10 exams between March 15 and April 2, 2019.

How to check PSEB class 10 results

Once the results are published on the official site of the board, you can follow these steps to check your results.

Log on to the website pseb.ac.in. This is the official site where the results will be uploaded by the board.

On the home page of the site, you will find the links namely PSEB class 10 results and PSEB class 12 results. Click on the link applicable in your case depending on your class.

You have the input the details asked on the page like your roll number and others. Then click on ‘Submit’.

You will see your results displayed on the screen. Take a print out of the result and save it for future reference.

As per the board’s norms, the minimum marks required for passing the exam is 35 in all the subjects.

Abbreviated as PSEB, The Punjab School Education Board was established in November 1969 through an enactment in the state legislature. The principal objective of this board is to oversee the development and spread of education in the state of Punjab. In the year 1987, the Vidhan Sabha made some amendments in the Act of the Board in order to grant autonomy to PSEB.

The official statistics say that around 8 lakh students appeared for the class 10 exams in 2019. The ratio was about 4.5 lakh students taking 10^th class exams and about 3.5 lakh students writing 12^th class exams.

In 2018, the overall pass percentage was 59.47. About 90.25 percentage of boys passed the exams while the pass percentage was 95.34 for girls.
