Protestors are blocking Uber headquarters because of its ties to Trump
SAN FRANCISCO, California - Several protestors barricaded the front of Uber headquarters in San Francisco on Friday.
Uber CEO Travis Kalanick is a member of President-elect Donald Trump's economic advisory team.
A few protesters were chained to the front door on Market Street, and no employees were able to enter, according to our correspondent on-site. The side doors to the headquarters were also blocked by protestors.
"Trump thinks he runs this town, we have come to shut it down," the protestors chanted.
Several protestors wore signs saying "Uber collaborates, we resist."
