Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg appeared in court in Manhattan, New York on Thursday afternoon to face charges in the Manhattan District Attorney's wide-ranging investigation of the company.
A grand jury indictment unveiled on Thursday afternoon charges the Trump Organization and Weisselberg with 15 felony counts of fraud and larceny, alleging that they "devised and operated a scheme to defraud federal, New York State, and New York City tax authorities" by concealing payments "off the books."
Weisselberg, who turned himself in to authorities on Thursday morning, is charged with a scheme to defraud in the first degree and grand larceny in the second degree. He has plead not guilty to the charges.
