  • Former President Trump attended a Saudi-funded golf tournament hosted at one of his resorts.
  • He was joined by allies Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Former President Donald Trump hosted allies Tucker Carlson and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene at the Saudi-funded golf tournament he hosted at his Bedminster resort in New Jersey.

Footage posted on Twitter Sunday by Alex Brusewitz, a conservative political consultant, the three together with other Trump family members.

They seemed to be enjoying a crowd chant of "let's go Brandon", a derisive slogan about President Joe Biden. Trump pumped his fist in time with the chant, and Greene appeared to join shouting the words.

Trump's group also included Don Jnr. and his girlfriend Kim Guilfoyle, as well as Eric Trump.

Photographs showed Trump, Greene and Carlson chatting at the event.

Trump has drawn criticism for hosting the LIV tournament, including from families of victims of the 9/11 attacks who have drawn attention to links between Saudi officials and 9/11 hijackers. Saudi Arabia has long denied any links with the attacks.

There is currently intense scrutiny of the company Trump keeps, with the former president shoring up alliances ahead of a widely anticipated 2024 presidential bid announcement.

Greene is among Trump's closest congressional allies, and is notorious for conspiracy theories and fiercely defending Trump's MAGA agenda. In a recent interview she said she would be "honored" to serve as Trump's running mate as he gears up to launch a 2024 presidential bid.

Carlson, one of the top-rated cable news hosts, has long backed Trump's MAGA agenda. But in recent months he has frequently hosted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on his show, who is widely seen as a likely rival of Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination.
