  • Tucker Carlson and Fox News executives privately mocked Rudy Giuliani's post-election press conference.
  • Newly released texts show Carlson saying his "mind is blown" at hair dye dripping down Giuliani's face.

In newly released private text messages, Fox News host Tucker Carlson mocked Rudy Giuliani's "desperate and deranged" post-election press conference where hair dye dripped down his head.

The series of text messages between Tucker Carlson and Fox News executives was released on Tuesday as part of court evidence in Dominion Voting Systems' lawsuit against the cable news network.

In one text exchange during Rudy Giuliani's now-infamous press conference on November 19, 2020, Tucker Carlson and his executive producer Justin Wells ridiculed Giuliani.

Wells said the press conference was "so desperate and deranged at the same time," which Carlson responded to with images of Rudy's hair dye apparently dripping down his face, saying "my mind is blown," according to the court documents.

Wells then texted "No one cares that Rudy was melting away at 1 pm," adding, "Thought it is sad and somewhat hilarious at the same time."

Fox News executive Ron Mitchell ultimately said it would be smart not to cover the press conference.

Dominion has alleged that Fox News hosts and executives pushed Donald Trump's election lies about the company knowing they were false.

Evidence in the lawsuit was released Tuesday, including more text messages in which Carlson told other Fox News hosts that he hates Trump "passionately" and that he "truly can't wait" to stop covering him.
