Donald Trump seems really angry about reports that he's angry.
The former president is lashing out at what he describes as the "fake narrative from the corrupt media" that he's angry — correction, "Angry" — about the midterms and telling his Truth Social followers not to believe it.
"I am not at all angry, did a great job (I wasn't the one running!), and am very busy looking into the future," he wrote.
He continued: "Remember, I am a 'Stable Genius.'"
Trump was churning out "truths" about his endorsement prowess on Thursday after Republicans blamed him for their underperformance in Tuesday's midterms.
He also attacked New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman for reporting that he was "furious" and blaming his wife Melania for advising him to back TV reality star Mehmet Oz, who lost his Senate bid in Pennsylvania to John Fetterman.
"I was not at all ANGRY. Fake News!" he wrote.
He insisted that almost all of his endorsees won and said the New York Times was "only quoting enemies and losers."
At one point on Wednesday, Trump admitted that the elections were "somewhat disappointing" in "certain ways," but he said they were "a very big victory" for him.
