Former President Donald Trump pontificated about his place in US history during a wide-ranging, hour-long interview on the Nelk Boys "Full Send Podcast" on Wednesday.

The Canadian and American YouTube pranksters asked Trump if being a billionaire "and owning real estate" or being president gave him more power. Trump didn't answer the question directly, but instead expounded on his unique place in US presidential history.

"So, in the history of our country, nothing like me has ever happened," Trump said. "I don't say that positive, negative. You know, you've never had a businessman."

Trump went on to explain that most US presidents have a background in politics or the military.

"So you had soldiers and you had politicians," Trump said. "There's never been an outsider."

Throughout the interview, Trump complained about how the American press has treated him and how it has fact-checked his false claims that the 2020 election was "rigged."

The hosts exchanged numerous flatteries with Trump.

Co-host Kyle Foregeard fondly recalled being invited to meet Trump on Air Force One when he was still president. Another jokingly offered to caddy for him on the golf course.

"Donald, well the good news is, can I — worst case scenario — I used to caddy at a golf club. Can I caddy for you?" co-host Stevewilldoit said.

"You can be my caddy anytime," Trump replied.

Trump also lavished praise on the podcasters, who have run into various legal troubles in their prank videos.

"I'm gonna be watching you guys," Trump said. "You're young, you're smart, you're attractive, you're handsome. Let's see what happens."
