Immediately following former President Donald Trump's arrest in Manhattan on Tuesday, his campaign began promoting a new T-shirt featuring a mugshot of the former president emblazoned with the phrase "NOT GUILTY."

But the mugshot isn't real. And neither is Trump's height, as depicted by the T-shirt.

The "Official Trump Mugshot White Cotton T-Shirt," available for the price of $36 on Trump's campaign website, shows the former president clocking in at a lofty 6 feet, five inches.

In actuality, Trump is at least two inches shorter.

According to a 2020 physical exam conducted by the White House, Trump was 6'3" tall and weighed 244 pounds.

Trump, the first former president to ever face criminal charges, on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a $130,000 hush-money payment made to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

As is customary for criminal defendants, Trump had his fingerprints taken ahead of his arraignment on Tuesday. Yet he was unlikely to be handcuffed or have a mug shot taken, The New York Times reported.

Trump's historic court appearance came days after a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict him after hearing months-long testimony about his alleged role in the hush-money payment.

Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen has said he facilitated the payment to Daniels, with Trump's approval, in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair she had with Trump in 2006. Cohen previously pleaded guilty to wiring the payment and was sentenced to three years in prison in 2018.

Prosecutors say the payment was an illegal campaign contribution. Trump has denied having an affair with Daniels and rejected claims the payment was unlawful.

Trump has accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Democrat, of political bias and blasted the indictment as a political witch hunt. Widely considered the 2024 Republican frontrunner, the Trump campaign has repeatedly fundraised off of the indictment and Trump has called for his supporters to rally behind him.

Since the indictment last Thursday, the Trump campaign has raised more than $8 million, according to Trump aide Jason Miller.
