Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the party's candidates on the ballot "will accept the results" of the midterm elections.

However, the GOP needs "to have the ability to fix" potential voter issues, McDaniel said on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday.

"We want to make sure it's run fair and transparently, and then we will let the process play out, and then we will accept the results," McDaniel told host Dana Bash.

"When the process is played out and the votes are canvassed and certified, every one of your Republican candidates will accept their results, even if they lose?" Bash clarified.

"They will," McDaniel replied, later adding, "I'm saying that we're going to accept the results."

Dozens of election deniers are on the ballot, and many of them have been endorsed by top Republicans like former President Donald Trump. Across the country, some 291 Republican election deniers are running for public office with 171 expected to win, according to The Washington Post.

"Everybody's talking about this election denier. This is the language," McDaniel said. "Our commander in chief, Joe Biden, going in front of the American people and talking about this and saying, 'Oh, look at this – these issues with election deniers.' Well, here's what the Democrats are. They're inflation deniers. They are crime deniers. They're education deniers, literally."

McDaniel added that more Americans are focused on economic issues, such as gas prices and inflation, saying "that's the big issue."
