As of 12:14 p.m. ET on Saturday, President-elect Joe Biden has won the state of Nevada and its 6 electoral votes, Decision Desk HQ and Insider projected.
Biden was projected to win the 2020 election on Friday morning after picking up the battleground state of Pennsylvania and notching 273 electoral votes.
Nevada had long voted red in presidential elections but has recently shifted to blue territory. Voters chose Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama in both 2008 and 2012 and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016.
There are no major down-ballot races Nevada this year. The state is firmly in Democratic control, with Democrats holding both houses of the state legislature, governor, and five out of six congressional seats. Nevada has six electoral votes.
