Live Results: Kentucky votes in congressional and state elections
Politics1 min read

Some polls closed at 6 p.m. EST in Kentucky. The state's six congressional seats are up for reelection this cycle, as is Republican US Sen. Rand Paul.

The state is also the site of what's sure to be a closely-watched referendum on abortion with Amendment 2, which if passed would establish that Kentuckians do not have a right to an abortion. Beyond that, the cities of Louisville and Lexington will also elect mayors.

Given the state has multiple time zones, the first polls closed at 6 p.m. EST and the last polls close at 7 p.m. EST.
