Live Results: Kansas votes in congressional and state elections
Politics1 min read

Kansas — it shocked the nation this summer when a ballot referendum that would ban abortion was summarily rejected in what's typically believed to be a ruby red state — will vote on four congressional seats this cycle.

The 3rd District is seen as particularly competitive, and the state's Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly and Republican Sen. Jerry Moran will also face re-election.

Polls closed in the state at 7 p.m. local time. Given the state has multiple timezones, the first polls closed at 8 p.m. EST and the last polls closed at 9 p.m. EST.
