Since being expelled from Congress at the beginning of this month, George Santos has quickly moved to profit off of his infamy.

The New York Republican quickly started a Cameo account, charging hundreds of dollars for videos of him delivering personalized messages. He's reportedly bringing in more than the annual congressional salary, and even Democratic politicians have forked over money to the disgraced ex-congressman, criticism be damned.

Shortly after his expulsion, he agreed to sit down with Ziwe, a comedian known for asking tough but humorous questions about race and politics.

"It was definitely not your average interview," Santos told the Washington Post, saying it "was an interesting, different type of environment" than the typical political interview, while also claiming to have little memory of the interaction.

"It's just so much of drinking out of a fire hose that I don't remember this interview anymore," said Santos.

That interview is set to air on YouTube at 11am ET on Monday, and can be found below.

But even as the ex-congressman has found a second act as a minor celebrity, his legal troubles persist.

Santos faces 23 criminal counts from federal prosecutors for money laundering, wire fraud, identity theft, and other offenses.

Following his expulsion — driven by a damning report from the House Ethics Committee that laid bare a series of misdeeds, including bilk donors for Botox and OnlyFans — he has begun negotiating a plea deal with prosecutors.

Absent a deal, he is set to face trial in September. In either case, the serial fabulist could be facing years in prison if convicted.
