Republican Rep. Tim Burchett said things are so bad between Reps. Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene that the once conservative allies are on the verge of a fight.

"A fistfight could break out at any moment," Burchett, a Tennessee Republican, told The Daily Beast.

Burchett, a self-described big fan of professional wrestling, said it's "entertaining" to watch the relationship between two of the most outspoken conservative lawmakers continue to deteriorate.

"I am friends with both of them," Burchett told the publication. "It's entertaining to think that a fistfight could break out at any movement. I kind of dig that."

Greene was kicked out of the House Freedom Caucus, an exclusive group for House conservatives, on the heels of calling Boebert a "little bitch" on the House floor. The Georgia Republican was angry with Boebert for introducing articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden. Greene argued that Boebert essentially stole the language for her articles from her. The latest episode was the most recent in a series of reported public and private tiffs between the pair.

The Daily Beast described Greene as so upset over her ouster from the Freedom Caucus that she insisted on being delivered the news in person. The caucus does not publicly discuss its membership, but Greene's ouster is the first time in its history that it kicked out a lawmaker. Boebert, The Beast reports, voted to boot Greene.

Representatives for Greene and Boebert did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment. Greene snapped at a Daily Beast reporter for asking her about their reporting.

"Dude, do you do anything besides report on complete drama and bullshit?" she asked The Daily Beast. "No, I'm serious."
