As the House Ethics Committee revealed in a scathing report earlier this month, Rep. George Santos is a fan of cosmetic procedures.

Specifically, the New York Republican — who has since sworn off re-election and faces likely expulsion from the House this week — is a fan of Botox, including allegedly spending campaign donors' money on the procedure on numerous occasions.

But according to "The Fabulist," a newly released book by reporter Mark Chiusano about the scandal-plagued congressman, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

According to a new excerpt from the book published in Slate, Santos has long been a fan of body modifications, including lip fillers, liposuction, Ozempic, and even lap band surgery.

"New lips kicked in lol," he once texted to a 2022 campaign aide, according to the book.

And at one point — when it appeared on Election Night 2022 that he would lose to his Democratic opponent, Robert Zimmerman — Santos is said to have made a joke about cosmetics.

"Fuck," Santos joked, according to the book. "I guess he does have better lip filler than me."

The excerpt also discusses Santos's insecurities in general, and how they may have driven the congressman to become such a flagrant liar.

"I can't believe that nobody told me what I look like in this vest," he once told his campaign staff, according to the book. "It's embarrassing."

Furthermore, Santos's own mother is said to have warned people against believing his lies.

"Oh my god, Anthony and his stories," she once said, referring to the name "Anthony Devolder" that Santos previously used. "Don't listen to him."
