Chasten Buttigieg, husband of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and bestselling author of "I Have Something to Tell You," has much more to say.
The LGBTQ rights advocate and former teacher has signed on with KNP Communications as a senior consultant, Politico Playbook first reported on Monday.
"I am thrilled to be joining the team at KNP and to have the opportunity to share my experiences as a theater artist, middle-school teacher, and campaigner with our clients," he said in a statement.
The private firm works with Democratic candidates in national, state, and local elections. The firm specializes in helping leaders, executives, and advocates in all sectors become "outstanding communicators," the firm's blog post says. It offers speaking and media training, speech writing, and other communications services.
"Chasten brings a wealth of experience as an advocate who knows what it means to forge a meaningful connection with an audience," Matthew Kohut, managing partner of KNP, said in a statement. "He understands that great communication begins with authenticity."
