Former President Donald Trump's youngest son is set to enter the political spotlight.

Florida Republicans selected Barron Trump, 18, as an at-large delegate to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this July. The news, first reported by Politico and NBC, underlines how the Trump kids will again play a major role in their father's third straight nomination to lead the Republican Party's presidential ticket.

Barron Trump is set to graduate from high school next week, with a ceremony that the former president was going to miss before Justice Juan Merchan granted him a break in his Manhattan criminal trial.

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are also part of the delegation. Tiffany Trump, Trump's youngest daughter, and her husband, Michael Boulos, are also at-large delegates. The former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump Jr.'s fiancé, rounds out the list.

Ivanka Trump, the former president's eldest daughter, and Jared Kushner, her husband and a former senior White House advisor, are notably absent. Ivanka Trump, who also served in the Trump administration, said she would stay away from her father's bid to reclaim the White House.

Like the former president, many of the Trumps now live in Florida. Donald Trump easily won the Sunshine State's primary and its 125 delegates. Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, once his best-positioned primary foe, bowed out of the race and endorsed the former president long before Floridians headed to the polls.

President Joe Biden has vowed to compete in Florida this year, but the state has increasingly moved away from its swing-state roots.

Correction 5/9: An earlier version of this story misstated Tiffany Trump's last name as her husband's. It also misspelled Kimberly Guilfoyle's last name.
