Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan of Minnesota wore an outfit by indigenous designer Jamie Okuma.

A member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe, Peggy Flanagan would be the first Native American woman governor in the US and Minnesota's first female governor if Gov. Tim Walz is elected vice president. She served as cochair of the Democratic National Convention.
Vice President Kamala Harris wore a tan suit by Chloé, which some theorized was a callback to Barack Obama's 2014 tan suit scandal.
