APMichelle Obama.Michelle Obama is speaking at Apple's developer's conference in San Jose on Tuesday, but unless you're one of the lucky people able to attend in person, you might not find out what she has to say.

Apple has closed the speech by the former First Lady to the press. A Business Insider reporter who had queued up to attend the speech was pulled out of line by company representatives.

The event is also not being live streamed by Apple, in contrast to the company's two-hour on-stage presentations and product announcements by Apple executives on Monday.

Neither Apple nor representatives for Obama immediately responded to requests for comment.

Some developers in the audience have been tweeting from the event and live-streaming it using their phones.

Obama's speech comes on the second day of Apple's WWDC event. During the company's main presentation on Monday, Apple representatives unveiled a new smart speaker called the HomePod, refreshed Mac computers and updates to the company's iOS and MacOS operating systems.
