Donald Trump is also bucking the trend of geographic curiosity. Last year, Trump met the survivors of religious persecution at the Oval Office. The refugees were from China, Turkey, North Korea, Iran and Myanmar. After one of them asked Trump what was his plan to help Rohingya refugees in Myanmar. To that, Trump responded: “Where is that exactly?”

A man standing next to Trump explained to him that Myanmar is “next to Burma” — which is totally incorrect. Myanmar was known as Burma until 1989.
