The Royal Regiment of Scotland has a tiny shetland pony – Lance Corporal Cruachan IV. He likes Polo Mints.
The Irish Guards have a giant dog called Domhnall of Shantamon. His army contract entitles him to payment in the form of dog food.
The 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh have a mascot called Llwelyn. He holds the rank of Fusilier. For some reason goats are very popular within the military.
The 3rd Battalion The Royal Welsh also have a goat. He's Lance Corporal Shenkin III.
The Mercian Regiment of the British Army also have a goat – Lance Corporal Derby XXX.
