The Ahmednagar Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra comprises of six Vidhan Sabha seats including Shevgaon, Rahuri, Parner, Ahmednagar City, Shrigonda and Karjat Jamkhed. Among them, there are no reserved seats.
For 2019 assembly elections, BJP is fielding Monika Rajale once again from the Shevgon constituency. The party has nominated Shivajirao Kardile once again from Rahuri. Hence both these candidates are facing the elections from their winning seats. Babanrao Pchpute will face the elections from Shrigonda constituency once again to try his luck this time after losing for NCP candidate in 2014 elections.
From this Lok Sabha constituency, the BJP won 3 assembly seats last time and NCP won two seats. The remaining was won by SHS.
Along with the other Vidhan Sabha seats, Ahmed Nagar assembly constituencies will face their general elections on October 21, 2019. This time Maharashtra is facing polls in a single phase despite being a large state with 288 constituencies. The results will be announced by evening after the counting of votes on October 24, 2019.

In 2014 general elections, Monika Rajale Rajiv (BJP) won from Shevgaon securing 53185 votes more than the NCP candidate Ghule Chandrasekhar Marutraoji. Kardile Shivaji Bhanudas (BJP) was elected from Rahuri seat and his victory margin was 25676 votes more than the SHS candidate Usha Prasad Tanpure. Auti Vijayrao Bhaskarrao (SHS) won from Parner who had secured 27422 votes more than Sujit Vasantrao Zaware Patil. Sangram Arunkaka Jagtap (NCP) won from Ahmednagar City pushing back Anilbhayya Ramkisan Rathod of SHS party. Jagtap Rahul Kundlikrao (NCP) was chosen from Shrigonda. He won over the BJP candidate Panchpute Babanrao Bhilanji with a margin of 13637 votes.
