Jharkhand assembly election 2019 Exit Poll Results For BJP

Jharkhand is the 28th state in India and was formed only in 2008 after carving it out of the state of Bihar for administrative reasons. Presently, the state is ruled by the BJP government following its victory in 2014 Vidhan Sabha elections conducted in the state. Assembly Elections 2019 in Jharkhand were conducted to select the government that will rule the state for the next five years. The five phased election was scheduled between November 30 and December 20, 2019. The votes will be counted on December 23 with the results declared on the same day.

Exit poll results 2019 for BJP

Having casted their votes, the voters are now eagerly waiting to know the results of the elections along with the rest of the country that is curious to find out who will rule the state for the next term. The exit poll results are out and the following predictions reflect the post poll opinion collected from the voters with regard to BJP.

India Today-My Axis pollster predicts that BJP is going to fall behind the Congress – JMM – RJF alliance scoring only between 22-32 seats in the 81 seats assembly. The vote share of the BJP is estimated at 34%.

C-Voter exit polls predict 28 to 36 seats for the BJP.

Poll of polls says BJP has the possibility of scoring not more than 29 seats.

2014 Election results for BJP

In the 2014 elections, BJP had scored 37 seats lacking only 5 seats out of the clear majority of 42 seats. The JMM had won 19 seats coming in second place.
