a) cVIGIL Application
cVIGIL can furnish an evidentiary proof of the Model Code of Conduct or Expenditure Violation by the contesting candidates and parties in a time-stamped manner. This app will empower any citizen to photograph or video-graph an instance of such violation noticed using his or her smartphone. cVIGIL App is based on GIS technology.
One of the most unique features of this app is the auto location which can provide correct information for flying squads to reach the exact spot where the incident has been recorded. The twin objectives of cVIGIL App include using it as a support system tool for the election machinery and also enabling the participation of common man in the conduct of free and fair elections. cVIGIL App creates room for real time status tracking and monitoring to fill the gaps and also establish a fast track complaint receiving and redressal system. b) Model Code of Conduct Portal:
Every case of model code of conduct violation filed with ECI and CEOs directly are now digitized and presented in public view with full details. Hence, the implementation of the Information and Communications Technology by the ECI has significantly enhanced the participation and involvement of the general public in the conduct of elections. This app is a sure step to achieve more transparency in the conduct of elections by bringing the Model Code of Conduct Violations cases to the public view.

c) Voter Helpline Mobile Application
The Voter helpline app was introduced before the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections and has become highly popular among the voters. The voters have been using this app for voter search, filling up forms, forwarding complaints, viewing the information about the contesting candidates and the election results.
After the app was launched, it has been used more than 1.5 billion times with over 52 million electoral searches. The voters can use the Voter Helpline Mobile Application to reach the Electoral Registration Officer, District Election Officer, and the Chief Electoral Officer directly and talk to them right on the app, search their names on the electoral roll, fill up the electoral forms meant for new registration, make some changes in the details and others.
On this app, you can lodge your grievances, learn about a polling station, make calls to the polling officials, and learn about the conduct of elections. Voters can also use this app to download their Digital Photo Voter Slip containing the QR code for use for the booth app at the polling stations.

d) Persons with Disability Application (PwD)
The EC has developed the PwD Mobile Application to meet the needs of PwD voters. This app requires a minimum knowledge of technology. The various easy accessibility features of this app include voice over prompt, high contrasting interface, easy navigation, and access to booth-level officers. By inputting their EPIC card number, the PwD users can also search their detailed profile.
To encourage the PwDs electors to cast their votes, the EC has taken some initiatives like providing wheelchairs during elections, providing volunteer assistance at the polling booths, arranging to transport the PwD voters to the polling station. The PwD app has an interesting facility for the voters with visual disabilities. This app can read out the full candidate list to the voter giving details like the names and serial numbers. This will let the visually impaired voters to select the desired number from the ballot list and accordingly cast their vote without any difficulty or confusion.

e) Suvidha Mobile App
This is a contesting candidate app that will give the necessary information to the contestants regarding the status of their nominations and permissions. This online portal will handle all the permissions issued by the EC for meetings, rallies, loudspeakers, and for setting up the temporary offices. The contesting candidates, political parties or the representatives of the contesting candidates can directly apply on https://suvidha.eci.gov.in. Once this is done, they can receive the permissions and approval status on the Candidate App.

f) National Grievance Services Portal and Toll free voter helpline no. 1950:
The EC has created a unified toll-free number 1950 to enable any citizen to get Information, submit feedback, and make suggestions or complaints. The district contact Voter Helpline will address all the grievances raised. The system will also make sure that the voter receives all the voter facilitation services in his local language. The electoral services can be accessed now from a landline or mobile by dialing 1950.
The voters can also lodge their complaints pertaining to election and non-election issues on the NGSP portal using the link https://eci-citizenservices.eci.nic.in/
g) Voter Turnout App and ECI Website
The EC will make use of the Voter Turnout App to publish the details of voter turnout in real time in each of the Assembly Constituency/ Parliamentary Constituency. The app will give information regarding the total number of male voters, female voters and third gender voters in a given constituency. This application can also be used by the media houses to gather the live voter turnout data. This app will display information regarding every phase of election in real time.
