What Narendra Modi is to India, Devendra Fadnavis is to Maharashtra
Many politicians believe that Fadnavis has changed the game in Maharashtra. He was also compared to Narendra Modi — who rose to fame after BJP won over 300 seats in Lok Sabha elections 2014.
JP Nadda, the working president of BJP said, “Today I can say with authority and confidence that Devendra Fadnavis has changed the political culture of Maharashtra.”
“When Narendra and Devendra stand together, then 1+1 becomes 11 and not two,” he added.
Fadnavis however doesn’t like to compare himself with Narendra Modi, “There can be only and one only Narendra Modi in the world. I am satisfied to remain as Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra, he said in an interview with Zee 24/7.
