Manoj Tiwari has never been the one too shy away from the frame. This time, the Delhi election spotlight is on him, as the CM candidate. Tiwari, who entered politics in 2009, is a member of the parliament from North East Delhi. But it is also possible that he could be at the helm of Dehi if BJP wins. Bharatiya Janata Party is hoping that he could replicate his success of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, where he won the North East Delhi seat by over a 60% margin, defeating the late Sheila Dikshit.
Ever since he has been a strong voice for the BJP and campaigning extensively this election. Tiwari was appointed as Delhi’s party president in 2016. He is also a part of the 15-member election committee announced by the party.
Tiwari has been taking an aggressive stance too. He has even vowed to quit politics if BJP fails to win the assembly elections.
"Whatever the Aam Aadmi Party has claimed to do in the last five years, like opening schools, colleges, providing jobs to so many people, BJP will give Delhi five times more than that in the next five years. If it does not happen, I promise that I will retire from politics,” Tiwari said.

The subject of AAP’s memes
But even though he has come a long way from his Bhojpuri movies, they don’t seem to leave him behind. A glimpse of that can be seen in the recent viral video where AAP used one of his songs against him for a political campaign.
But Tiwari, isn't new to mudslinging, after all he was also a part of the much drama ridden Bigg Boss house. He instead turned around and slammed a ₹500 crore defamation case against AAP.
But that wasn’t the only meme aimed around Tiwari. AAP had released another meme from the movie Baazigar, mocking Tiwari for longingly looking at the Delhi CM seat.
