Sultanpur Majra Assembly Candidate list in Delhi State Election 2020

Mukesh Kumar Ahlawat from Aam Aadmi Party, Jai Kishan from Congress and Ram Chandra Chhabria from BJP will fight on Sultanpur Majra assembly seat in delhi election 2020.
Along with the other 69 assembly constituencies, Sultanpur Majra will go for Delhi assembly election polls in February 2020. The tenure of the present Vidhan Sabha will end on 22 February 2020 and hence the upcoming elections will decide who will represent this seat as an MLA in the Delhi assembly. In total, the number of voters in the Sultanpur Majra assembly seat is 169908 with a breakup of 92233 men, 77641 women and 34 third gender electors.
In the assembly elections held in 2015, the AAP candidate Sandeep Kumar got 80269 votes. He won over BJP’s Parbhu Dayal who scored 15830 votes. In three assembly elections held in 2003, 2008 and 2013, Jai Kishan of INC won this seat. Hence he was the sitting MLA for this assembly constituency for more than twelve years. In 2003, Jai Kishan won over BJP’s Satish Kumar. In 2008 elections, he overtook the BJP contestant Nand Ram Bagri. In 2013 elections, he sidelined the AAP candidate Sandeep Kumar.
Sultanpur Majra is a reserved seat for SC candidates. In 1993 general elections, Jai Kishan of INC won this seat and remained the MLA for a five year term till 1998. With his past records, we see Jai Kishan becoming the MLA of this assembly seat four times so far. In 1998, Sushila Devi of BJP won him giving him a break for five long years. In all the elections he contested so far, Jai Kishan had been representing INC.
