The star power of India’s film city, Mumbai, showed up to perform their civic duty at the city’s polling booth during the Maharashtra Assembly election.

The voter turnout in the city hit an all-time high during the Lok Sabha election, earlier this year, when it touched 64%.

From movie stars like Aamir Khan to Madhuri Dixit and sportsmen like Sachin Tendulkar too came out to vote.

Here’s a quick look at the film stars that showed up to vote during the Maharashtra Assembly election 2019:

Actor Aamir Khan was among the earliest of voters. He urged more people to come out and cast their vote.

Filmmaker Kiran Rao also was also an early vote--who echoed Aamir Khan’s request--asking more voters to participate in the electoral exercise.

Veteran actress Madhuri Dixit also joined the early birds and cast her vote at the Bandra (West) polling booth.

Hema Malini also showed up to vote.

Anil Kapoor was also spotted at a Juhu polling booth after voting.

John Abraham took a picture of himself outside the gym after voting.

Vivek Oberoi with his father Suresh Oberoi were seen smiling after they cast their votes.

Soha Ali Khan also shared a picture of her after voting.

Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza shared pictures of themselves after a visit to the polling booth at their home district of Latur.
