The final exit polls results for the 2019 elections to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament, are out. The Republic-Cvoter as well as News18-IPSOS and Times NOW-VMR surveys have predicted full majority for the incumbent National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Business Insider compiled surveys from five reputed sources-- Republic-C -Voter, New18-IPSOS, Todays Chanakya, India Today-Axis, and TimesNow - VMR-- amongst many others and the final number is an average of these five polls.
The key coalitions vying to form a government in New Delhi the United Progressive Alliance, the National Democratic Alliance, and the Grand Alliance of 12 parties called the Mahagathbandhan.
Exit polls in India have had a patchy record in the last few elections. While they have predicted that winner right more often than not but they underestimating the number of seats that the winning side may garner.
The average under-estimation of the winning party by pollsters in Parliamentary election is about 8%, according to veteran psephologists Dr Prannoy Roy and Dorab Sopariwala in their recent book, The Verdict.
