The 25 big companies with the best cultures

  • HubSpot ranked No. 1 in Comparably's list of the best company cultures among large firms.
  • The CRM platform also ranked No. 1 last year in this annual list.

HubSpot, Palo Alto Networks, and Workday are this year's top three companies for company culture according to a ranking from Comparably.

Comparably, a site where employees can rate their companies, just published its annual rankings of the places that are highly ranked for their company culture based on worker responses.

HubSpot, a CRM platform, which came in at No. 1 on this year's list, has historically ranked toward or at the top of Comparably's Best Company Culture ranking that's focused on large employers. Large employers are defined by Comparably as those with over 500 employees. Therapy Brands ranked at the top of the Best Company Culture list focused on small and midsize companies.

To create the Best Company Culture lists, the company used anonymous workers' ratings and responses from around the end of November 2021 to about the end of November this year. Responses from several questions, such as about the work environment, were used to find the most highly rated companies for their company culture.

With researchers thinking hiring woes for the US and other countries will continue for years and millions of people quitting, company culture may be one key work area in the current and future job market as the labor shortage continues.

"As we spoke to talent professionals around the world to understand the current state of company culture, we kept hearing the phrase 'once in a generation,'" Mark Lobosco, VP of talent solutions at LinkedIn wrote in a blog post about LinkedIn's Global Talent Trends 2022 report. "It's clear from our research that company culture is being reinvented to a degree and at a pace not often seen in the past."

Below are the top 25 companies that placed on the large list this year.
