Yamini Rangan, CEO of HubSpot, is the best CEO among companies with over 500 employees according to a new ranking from Comparably.
Comparably used anonymous ratings to find the greatest CEOs according to people who work at these places and who answered questions on the site. The responses used to create the rankings were from November 27, 2021 to November 29, 2022.
For the list focused on small and midsize companies, or those with 500 or fewer workers, Martin Mao of Chronosphere ranked at the very top of the list.
While the CEO of HubSpot made the top of this year's CEO list about large companies from Comparably, the CRM platform also ranked at the very top of Comparably's 2022 list of the large companies with the greatest company culture.
Rangan and Nextdoor CEO Sarah Friar are the only two women to make the top 10 this year. Friar ranked No. 7. Several CEOs of companies in tech made the top of the list. That includes Sundar Pichai of Google, who placed No. 10 on the large employer list, and Chuck Robbins of Cisco, who ranked No. 23. Comparably said that Pichai and Satya Nadella of Microsoft have historically been the only two CEOs to place on the list for six straight years.
