- Based on employee reviews, Boston Consulting Group ranked at the top of the large-company list this year.
Boston Consulting Group kept the top No. 1 spot on Comparably's list of large companies that are the best for career growth, according to employee reviews.
Comparably, a workplace-culture site where workers can rate and review their employer, analyzed ratings on the site to find the best companies to grow in your career. Companies that have over 500 employees were considered large employers and are highlighted below. Comparably also looked at what are the best small and midsize companies for career-growth opportunities in a separate ranking.
The ranking was based on anonymous employee reviews from May 15, 2022, through May 15, 2023. Responses about work feedback were used to help develop this ranking. Employees also responded to questions about whether they have a mentor or "meaningful opportunities for career advancement."
"Joining an organization that prioritizes your evolution is like hitting the career jackpot," Chad Herring, the chief human resources officer of Comparably's parent company ZoomInfo, said. "The champions on this year's leaderboard mastered the art of talent transformation, helping to turn employees into leaders. In doing so, they are creating a workforce for the future that doesn't judge you based on where you come from, but where you're heading."
Similarly, LinkedIn has published previously a list highlighting employers that have career growth opportunities. On LinkedIn's list, Amazon ranked at the top. Comcast, Boeing, and Apple also ranked high on that list.
Below are the large companies that made up the top 25 in Comparably's latest career-growth ranking. The industry's noted for companies below were provided to Insider by Comparably.
