- Among the top 20 this year were Boeing, Tesla, and GE; Google ranked No. 1.
Some engineering students would most like to work for Google, Microsoft, or BMW Group.
That's based on the World's Most Attractive Employers report for this year from employer-branding company Universum.
The newly published engineering-student ranking from the report, along with the other global rankings part of it, are based on how students of different college and university grade levels from nine economies responded. Responses are from fall 2022 to spring 2023. The US, UK, and China were three of the nine economies. Engineering students and other students part of the analysis responded with the employers they would most like to work for.
Boeing ranked No. 20 as it did in the 2022 ranking. Johnson & Johnson, Intel, and Apple are three of the companies that were part of the 2023 list's of the top 20 employers for engineering students.
Below are the most attractive employers based on responses from engineering students. Industries noted for each place below were from Universum.
